A family friend has a 1990 Pathfinder destined for the junk yard, ive yet to check it out for parts i might pull but the tires and rims are the main interest. My research shows that the XE Pathy of that year had 27 inch tires and the SE had i belive 31 inch tires. Im planning to crank my Tbars on the front and probably re index them as well but im wondering if that would give me enough room for the 31 inch tires. Which is an additional 3 inches each direction of the Hub

EROCK, most of the D21s ran a 14" wheel on the 2WD models...and the Pathys ran a 15".

Up to 235/75/15 will definitely fit the 2wd trucks. I've seen 31/10.5/15 before but I don't remember if they had trimmed the fenders or not. Your best bet would be to simply do a test for and see how they fit. If they're still good you could get the 4wd fenders too; they have I believe a 2" larger bulge to help the bigger tires fit.

Ditto on the "try it and see approach" - a set of the "lego wheels" with the triangular middle looks good on a Hardbody for sure.

gonna need a body lift to go along with the Tbar crank to clear 31s on a 2wd.
