Any coils that work on the Pathfinder will work on the QX4 (stick with same year, though, naturally). I'd start with new coils and go from there. Bags shouldn't be needed unless you're planning on towing heavy loads on and off and would like them there to level the back out. If you're planning on always having a load (like for work or if you're hauling frequently), then heavier gauge coils may be a good idea. When you don't have a load it will make the ride much harsher.
When I did mine I used Moog 81115 which were only $40 for the pair. I'd recommend getting new insulators for the bottom. It's a plastic bit that wraps around the end to prevent squeaking and yours are probably worn through and/or cracking by now. The big thick rubber insulator at the other end is probably fine but I got new ones too. New bump stops are also probably a great idea since you've been bottoming out so much, but most members here go with aftermarkets since the OEM are a bit spendy.
