Pathfinfer 2017 model engine problem

Hi everyone,
I have new pathfinder 2017 model, just driven 3000 km. I have noticed some strange sound from engine, engine warning lights are on and oil leaking. Anyone knows what is the reason?

Why not take it to the dealer you purchased it from? If all you are saying is true and it's a 2017 model then surely it must be under manufacturer's warranty.

Yeah, I'd stop using the vehicle immediately if it's brand-new and leaking oil and get it to a dealer ASAP. Hopefully it's something simple. Post back and let us know!

Strange sounds from the engine and leaking could be any of about 10 thousand things. Take it to the dealer under warranty asap.

According to service adviser from Nissan my pathfinder has manufacturing problem of engine and they will repair it for free of cost but the spare parts of the engine is not available at present and they have to order from the company but they don’t know how long it may take to get the spare parts. Almost 2.5 months now, still waiting for...................The worst decision I made in my life to purchase a new Pathfinder 2017 model. So be careful friends.........

Thanks for the update. I have not read good things about the reliability of the current generation pathfinders. They aren't real SUV's but more like large crossovers as are most mid size "SUV's" these days.
