Hi,i'm new to this board and looking for some advice. My 1996 pathfinder SE when i drive it over solid ground its fine, but when i drive over snow or dirt ( especially in 2wd mode ) the rear axle starts to vibrate HARD shaking the whole truck and making knocking noises . Please let me know what could be doing this and how i can fix it.

i think replacing the bushings in the rear Upper- & lower-links and also the penhard rod busings may take care of it. Where can i find after market polyurethane ones?

PLease Help.

Well, you're on the right track with replacing those bushings. That is most likely the source of your problem.

Check Energy Suspension. They have all types of bushings and most aftermarket parts stores can get Energy Suspension stuff.
