my buddy has a 92 pathfinder that was totaled out due to him being side swiped by a girl in a porsche boxter that was on her cell phone and he wants to know if i want anything off it and i told him ill ltell him later...

What im wondering is will the pathfinder's v-6 fit under the hood of my 89 hardbody or not...his is automatic and mine is manual will the transmission bolt to the engine with out having to fabricate anything?

will the pathfinders power steering fit onto my hardbody? can i put the 4x4 on it?

The swap should be fairly easy. I beleive the Hardbody SE had the same engine VG30DE. We installed a VQ30DET from a 96 Maxima into my 1997 Hardbody.

depends. If your HB was originally a v6, it'll bolt in, but depending on the year of the Pathy, you'll need to take the wiring harness with it. I'm not sure when they switched over from TBI to MPI in the Pathy's but if it's an MPI engine, you'll need the wiring.

If your HB is a 4 banger, you need to take the trans and tcase with it.
