I haven't heard of pathfinder cams, but I have heard of using the pathfinder intake and throttle body to increase airflow into the VG motor. However, the VG is vertically opposed as opposed to the VQ which is horizontally opposed.

I would imagine that Pathfinder cams would generate more low end power since that engine has to push a lot more weight around. Educated guess: more low end for your max.

I don't think it'd be worth your time & effort.

You'd be better served by pulling the intake and porting it, port-matching it, and maybe even extrude honing it. I think that or replacing it with a high performance manifold (if available) would be much more worth your while.

Same for cams. I know JWT makes cams for it.

Your best bet for performance manifolds is to buy the 4th gen MEVI that was on all euro and jdm spec cefiros. Honing and porting it really cuts down the mpg and a MEVI will give you near the same results

JWT cams are longer and have a shorter lobe. This cam profile is great for mid and top end but cuts down the low end. This setup might work in a 5-speed but i don't think this would work in an auto
