Pathfinder Stereo swap

Hi PPL.

I wanted to swap out my stock stereo head unit and planning to get the Pioneer AVIC-D3X (In Dash Touch Scrn navi/dvd/mp3). I need help figuring how to get the stock unit out. Schematics or pics and tips of any sort would be awesome for this startup dude. THANKS!

i have an 01 pathfinder so it should be the same for me as it will be for you.i took the 2 top vents with the clock in the center out of the center console.then there are two screws under that vent piece, the rest of the paneling is attached with clipswhich just pop out with some gentle effort. i assume you will be buying a wiring harness that will make the wiring much easier.

You might also want to look into getting a module that lets you still use the steering wheel control.http://www.pac-audio.com/produ...rface
