pathfinder starting problem

I have a 2004 Pathfinder chinook with 78,000km. I have had some recent starting problem, that last 3 days it would not start. What is weird is that it starts during the day, then at night when it's colder it does not start. You can hear the starter going, and the engine cranking but it doesn't start. All original parts, battery, alternator, starter.

If its the original battery you could be safe to assume to start with something cheap like that. Or the fact that it wouldnt hurt to replace the original battery at that mileage anyways. Thats around the time I did it on my summer car because during the winter months when its in my garage the cold would beat it down bad. I had to start the thing 3 and 4 times a week or it'd be dead. My new Bosch battery is amazing. Once a week no matter how cold it gets (and its been near ZERO in Buffalo the last week almost) so Id start with your battery and see how things go from there!
