Pathfinder shuts off while driving

The other day I was driving down the street and the car shut off, power, engine, everything. It rolled for a few seconds and just as I started to freak out a little bit it started back up and drove fine for a few miles. Then at an intersection it did the same thing, just died and wouldn't start back up (but strangely the clock and headlights, hazards etc still worked so I know they were getting power). I popped the hood and wiggled some things around, really had idea what was going on. Got back it and it started back up. Hasn't happened since. Anyone have a clue what that could be? Thanks.

main harness going to the computer... check if you do not have wires that are cut or corroded... ??

umm hmm maybe fuel filter clogged or fuel pump?

Check battery terminals. An older car I had had frayed and corroded wiring that mimicked your symptoms

power transistor crapping out
loose wires
bad joints
cracked fuel line
broken wire
grounding wire
grounding power line
