Alright, heres my Question.

My Pathfinder is a Xe Model, and to my Understanding the Se Model had Rear Disc Brakes and a Limited Slip Axle. Were the Rear Gear Ratio's Different? and will the 4x4 Xe Driveshaft mate into the Se Rear Differential Housing?

I ask because its my Wifes truck and i want to make it even the Slightest bit safer for her and my children. Also tryin to make 300zx Calipers fit the front lol :D

To the best of my knowledge, no pathfinders before 2005 came with rear disc brakes.

Although, I really wish we could get rear disc brakes. I hate these drums.

Actually, I think the 1995 LE did come with rear disk brakes. I'm about 80% sure of it....I say 80 because back then I was looking a about 4-5 other possibile SUV's to buy. but I do think they had rear disks which is what made me want it over the others.

yes, some of the WD21 LEs came with rear disc brakes.

if your brakes are already capable of locking up the tires, there is no advantage in switching to rear discs, except for pedal feel.

They Can lock up the Rear Tires, But It Does have RWD ABS.

and?

if you can lockup the tires, more powerful brakes will not stop you and quicker. your tires have already provided 100% available traction.

at this point, your money is better spent on higher performance tires.

I stand corrected.

I'm guessing the WD21 discs can not be installed (feasibly) on R50s?
