Pathfinder radio with no sound

I have a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder and the radio sound has been playing up. Occasionally it will come on when the vehicle is started and then go silent after about 20 mins. All of the display features are fine, I can see the volume scale going up/down, change stations etc but there's no sound. The CD player, phone and sat nav commentary all work fine. Any ideas?

I have a 2004, but it sounds like it is likely the amp. Not sure where it is on the 2005+ Pathfinders. Hopefully someone can chime in with a more helpful response, but it definitely sounds like an amp issue.
