1.How many miles per gallon (exactly) on a 97 pathfinder????

2. A guy at the junk yard tried to sell me a roof rack for $40. Was he ripping me off??

3. Would you reccomend changing the interiorer of my ride from brown to black??? How time consuming is it? Really?

1.) I get 16.6 mpg but I run a little bit larger tire. Just fill up your tank completely, hit the trip button to see how many miles you go, then whe you go so far that you think that you need to fill up again fill the tank completely full again. Take the miles that you have driven & divide it by the gallons you filled up with the second time.

2.) Was it an aftermarket roof rack you the one from the factory?

3.) I wouldn't change it for 2 reasons, one being that black shows every little bit of dirt & crumbs & seeing how my 2 dogs go with me everywhere & I offroad my Pathy, black interior wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for me. Plus I don't have the money, but if you would like a black interior & you have the money then you should do it, to hell with everyone else & what we think. Its not our opinions that matter about the look of your ride, only yours counts.

1. Depends on the specific car. I'd say 16 is avg.

2. Aftermarket rack = probably a deal. OEM = ripoff.

3. Lots of work. LOTS of work. You'd basically be replacing EVERYTHING. I wouldn't do it.

1. THANKS.

2. Honestly...I don't even know. Didn't really trust him to give me a deal. He had a crashed pathy in his lot and the roof rack was dismantled and sitting on the back seat.

3.Getting the black interior and maintaining it, is not a problem. I just don't want to be working like a slave...or paying out my ***.

You will be doing both if you decide to go through with it, buyt like I said if you have the time & money, who gives a f*ck. As long as that is what you want.

My ride needs some work done on the suspension. Where do I begin??

Its a real nightmare when I hit the bumps. I most def. have to get sway bars.

You'd be surprised at how much difference new shocks and struts make.

I bet it makes a world of difference... I don't know where to begin though. I don't know much about a vehicle's suspension. I'm like a little lost girl.

$40 for a complete stock roof rack is a sweet deal. Go price one at a dealership, I bet each crossbar individually is $40 or more, much less the entire setup. Aftermarket racks cost way more than $40 as well, think about that.

You want to change EVERYTHING from brown to black? Wow, have fun. There are so many trim pieces and whatnot in there I wouldn't even consider it, personally. That's just me.

Does it sway when you hit a bump on the freeway? Does it bottom out when you hit a hole or bump? Is it too stiff? Details, please.

ABOUT MY SUSPENSION....

When I hit a bump on the highway, the back of my vehicle sways heavily from from side to side. My friend suggested that I get performance shocks and springs....Like I said, I'M A LOST LITTLE GIRL. I think I need a tighter suspension.

How many miles on the truck?

I would start in the rear with new bushings (upper control arms have 2 bushings per arm and there are two arms) (lower control arms have two bushings per arm and there are two arms) possibly the end link bushings on the sway bar (these bushings mount the bar to the unibody and there are two) the sway bar bushing ( this mounts the sway bar to the differential and there are two). I would not replace the pan hard rod bushings b/c most repair shops will not try to press in the bushings b/c there are a ***** and if u need to know y i will elaborate. If you insist on the pan hard rod just replace the whole rod loaded with new bushings. And then you can replace the rear shocks with KYB at Advance Auto or Orielly Auto for about 60 per shock and the springs would probably need to be replaced too.

NOTE: Decide if you would ever want your truck a little higher or if you haul a ton on crap in the back then u might want to go with a lift spring and we can go a little deeper into that if need be.

i got sick of a cloth interior and decided to get everything that would convert my interior to an LE. Leather seats, door skins, wood panels etc etc.. I've had every single lift thats possibly been thought up for an r50 besides an sas.. I think I waste my money a lot lol.

werd. . I love Nissan cloth but I actually think that on earlier R50s, the wood grain dash looks nicer, and the leather is super easy to clean up. I don't mind jumping in when I'm soaking wet or throwing muddy items onto it. Still looks good.

I do that anyhow. I aint trying to impress anyone with the interior of my ride (nor the exterior for that matter). Everyonce in a while I use Tuff Stuff fabric cleaner & it works wonders.

I've never tried to impress anyone with my ride. Its all about me when I get in my vehicle. Whats crazy though is that I'm rocking the brown interior with the leopard skin rugs....I'm pimping it (lmao)

me neither. . I actually was in the market for a cheap SUV, but I couldn't break away from Nissan products. I sort of became attached to it though. I ended up postwhoring here, so they made me a mod.

I like the leather because it wipes down pretty easily. I have some paint I haven't had any luck getting out though, but haven't really spent much time on it.
