Pathfinder question

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I've got a '97 Pathfinder. Last week one of the mechanics at a garage cracked off half of the upper shock bolt on the passenger side. There's not enough of the bolt left to thread the nut back on. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether this bolt is threaded in or does the shock mount have to be totched off and replaced?

if you talking about the rear shock and not the front strut that is part of the unibody and likely not available seperatly.

Yes it is the rear shock (passenger side), so it looks like I'm going to have to have it torched off and replaced. What a pain...
