During our cold Chicago winter, my Pathfinder power antenna stopped working. I've owned 5 N or I 's over the past several years and know to clean and lubricate them. We had a bout of icy weather that kept the mast from going up and down. The motor will take the antenna down fine now, but When the radio is turned on, the motor will only send the antenna up an inch then it stops. I'm not sure if the mast line is broken, but it feels very tight in the motor, so I didn't think it is. I did read some things online about being able to take the mast out after unscrewing the retaining ring and refeeding the line because the motor is out of sequence, but it feels pretty tight to me, uinless I'm being too cautious with it. Also, if I need a new motor, is it accessed through the wheel well? and does anyone know what the repair will cost on average? Thanks
