I have a 97 Pathfinder with the 3.3l. has a water leak under the intake. Took off the intake and it's coming from a small right angle metal water line right above the egr. Can't find the part anywhere. Parts stores are clueless, I'm clueless when looking online. Over searched "intake elbow" "coolant bypass line" with no luck. Please help me find out what this fitting is called and where I can get one.

The smaller metal shaft of the elbow inserts into the intake here .

I have another 97 pathfinder with no leak issues and here's the top view of the right angle fitting in good shape and no leaks .

Here would be a zoomed out picture of where the part lays.

NissanPartsDeal.com>1997 Pathfinder> Engine Mechanical > Manifold shows you a picture of the intake manifold. That part is not shown separately, so it will only come with a new manifold.

Your old part looks like a press fit - so not really meant/designed to be replaced.

The best option I think is a used manifold from the pick and pull or carpart.com. Prices should be pretty soft given all the coronavirus stuff.

Good pics - made it easy to see exactly what you needed!

Thanks for the fast reply Rockwood! Yes that's what I was afraid of... And hmm you might be onto something with the whole coronavirus thing. A 2003 with the 3.5 is the only options at my local junkyard. I ended up ordering this Ford bypass line for $10 just to try my luck. It shouldbe here later this week (cornavirus outbreak depending) so I might wait on that. It's not a direct elbow but I have plenty of hose to do some wild routing if need be.

This is the Ford line. Who knows if the press fit part will match up but I figured might as well if a whole manifold is my only other option

Well, your pics disappeared already - at least I no longer see them.

That elbow is a very tight turn, so I assume there is some clearance issue under there. You might have to install that hose with a double loop fading into a reverse 90 degree twist - kind of like gymnastics I guess. Good luck!
