pathfinder forged rods and pistons

I was going to install forged pistons and rods, but my mechanic said that the connecting rods are shorter in the 350z than in the path, so forged pistons and rods for a 350z wont work on the pathfinder... Does anyone know where I can find forged pistons and rods for a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder (VQ35DE)?

for future references: forged VQ35DE pistons and connecting rods DO fit the 2001-2004 pathfinder, although a minor modification in the piston skirt is needed.
