The rear bushing problem is only on 1996-1998 If the R50 in his signature is the one with the problem, its probably not bushings but i would still check out all the suspension, make sure the struts arent leaking or bouncingKoukiS14 wrote:Could it be rear bushings?
SnowSurfLax wrote:Have them check the suspension, alignment, tire balance. I didn't get my tires rotated for about 9000 miles and it's a little funny. I also drive over some of the crappiest paved roads in the country so that doesn't help. But I know what you're talking about. I can see the steering wheel wiggle at high speeds.
Does it pull to either side when you let go of the steering wheel? If so, a balance and alignment is definitely necessary.
Whoa welcome to NICO!!!sidewaysdrifter0 wrote:before i put my tires on it my pathy was stable up to 100-110...now it sucks in the snow with the 31x10.5x15's on there....but def check out the suspension. my moms 98 suuucks! the rear control arm bushings had to be replaced, the suspension had to be replaced and tires too. all that happened after she put the tow hitch on and towed around a little lawnmower trailer...and my quad before i got mine. but mine never had a single problem...and i offroad it almost every day stock suspension. Im waiting on my 2 inch spring lift to come in so i can slap some 33's on there. let me know.
Then DEFINITELY keep your speed down until you get to a tire store and get your wheels balanced and aligned. Have them double check it after they balance and align it. I had to have the same tire store get mine rebalance and align it twice when I bought mine from the puky little used car dealer. They totally farked up my wheels when they put the "NEW" cheap tires on.pathfinder_top_gear5 wrote:
