Pathfinder clock replace with QX4 analog help

Hey Folks, I decided to replace my 2004 pathfinder digital clock with the analog one from the QX4. But the clock only works and is getting power when the ignition is off. The light on the clock works with ignition on but the hands wont move. Everything works with the ignition off. Im pretty sure this might be a wiring issue with the compatibility but it also might be a bad clock. Any ideas ? Thanks a million for any insight offered. Rick
