Pathfinder 2007 power side view mirror reset

Hello folks

My 2007 pathfinder has powered side view mirrors which seem to work but recently when i try and close them they only close about an inch rather than folding right into the car where they are supposed to? Both mirrors do the same - is there a way to "reset" them so that they fully close?

Any info would be much appreciated.

That seems like an odd problem. If there is a reset procedure, it should be in your owner manual or maybe in the factory service manual.

Both Dexter (google and here) does seem to be an odd one as they both still close but only a bit - I'll give the the service manual a look (nothing in the owner manual).

My Xterra doesn't have anything that fancy so I'm not really familiar with the feature. You could also ask the service department at your local stealership if they've come across the issue before.
