so its friday night, i am a "great lookin" 20 y/o guy with plenty of things to do.. SO how do i spend my night? I dismantle the 93 Kade i picked up last weekend

everythings off of the motor right now, except for the head. I have the head all off, except for the timing chain( doublechain thingy). So i need an impact gun to get off the crank pulley so i can pull off the timing cover so i can get to the chain..

So i'll do all that tommorrow.. but what should i start doing to the parts? Try fiz's intake emmision removal? Clean and paint the brackets and misc parts?

my plan is to sell my soul to a machinist, so that will cover most of the parts..

just thought id share that the dual cam head bolts have allenkey things. My single cam had bolts...oh well

ill get some pics tommorrow for all to enjoy

Pathetic? Very likely. More motivated than me? Definately. Look, you are here with the KA-t guys, which means you would prefer to have your own fun (rather than pay someone to install your SR. **** SR) Here are (many of) my words: of you have the money get ARP studs, but DO NOT reuse those bolts if they have been ran. You can get the cam sprockets loose if you jamb a wrench against the head, or 1) Get a big friend or 2) Use the crank for leverage (with a big pipe). The emissions removal would be gonzo, but you are in NY, can you do that? The machinist will be your best friend, as he is mine. I would love to help you, as I am in the grips of my project as well. Good Luck!

sweet.. yeah im gonna get arp head and main studs..in ny, we have the obdii testing for inspections only. My car is a 93, therefore no ecu reader. And i work at a shop that does inspections so..

the machinist will be my best freind. I will probably get a christmas card from him next year. Andi got the cams out of the head arleady, i just have to get the chain off. Its the double one that is stuck. I have to get the crank pulley off so i can get access to the chain..

but thanks for the kind words and good luck with yur project too..
