Hopefully someone has a source. I would like to find patch panels to repair the rear quarters around the wheel openings especially toward front in the dogleg area. I know parts like this are made for many vehicles so wondering if anyone here has done this and has source.
I would like to have this QX4 stay nice for a long time

You could call a body shop that works on Nissans - I am not aware of anyone that make those parts, but that doesn't mean there isn't one or two. The R50's were not as popular as some models, so there seem to be fewer aftermarket parts out there. But the body shops would know them if they are out there.

May have to fabricate something to cover the top portion of the wheel wells. I do hope a solid vendor does appear since i am also in the market for some panels myself. Luckily i have most of my rust in the wheel wells..everywhere else is little stuff ...

Kind of new to this forum , I am by no means a body shop guy , You can do this work youself :woot: , for very little money, I first went after the rust with a product called ' POR 15 ' works very well,( just follow directions ) I paid about 157.00 for the floor rebuil kit, Then rebuilt the rusted out areas with a gallon of fiber glass and the strand glass. I paid less than 100.00 for glass shiped to my house with HASMAT charges from Washinton STATE to Indiana.. Also watched some good vidio from U-tube ( SWRNC) " MY FRIEND PETE " ) Note: Pete is a little Coarse.. Once you get the hang of glass its pretty easy and a little fun, great feeling of doing something yourself . Glass seems to be very strong .I had rust from about the back of the front door to the rear wheel wells on the rocker panels, Thanks to the running boards, I used the rocker panels to learn how to work with glass After working on rockers under my QX4 the wheel wells where easy...And I also have wheel flairs back on after rusting off . The flairs covered most of my work and the Q looks allmost as good as new.. Notes :Wear long sleaves and pants "throw away" Gloves will be eaten by glass products Used Nitrile Disposables cheep ,, Chip brushes are needed cheep 50. cent apeice also might want a gallon of aceatone to clean up youself and any mess.. Lots of rags Total less than 300.00 I priced the drivers side quater panel over 1300.00 so big saveings ? maybe paint the whole thing

I considered that but this vehicle is going to be (I hope) a long term investment and I would like to have it be as near perfect as possible so my preference to have new metal welded in. I think it gives a better overall job. But thanks!

Wouldn't all that fiberglass with the product make the truck heavier?

I'm thinking The glass should be much lighter The gallon of resin only is about 8lbs I have replaced 3/4 rocker panel and the wheel well on the driver side and still have over half still for use. ?
