Aite, so i have this starting problem thats been plagueing my 240sx for a few weeks now. I have basically stripped the car and looked for shorts and seem to find none, heck the wires seem to be in good condition. Then the last thing I thought would be the prob was the battery connectors. I checked the negative wire, all koo. Then I checked the positive, a little oxide, but since it has 2 other additional connectors run into it I decided to check those. Disconnected and to my surprise I see white and gray paste on both connectors. Is this "stuff" inhibiting the charge sent to the starter? I have some pics of those connectors. If so, how can I clean them, or How can I replace them? These connect to the Positive battery cable rite before connecting to the terminal.

Nissan puts that goop on at the factory to prevent corrosion of the connector and to keep water out. I'm surprised there's not more of it in there.
