but you gotta describe a little bit how driving that POS before the 240 was, just like the OP did.....
nico is not an official car reviewer, but how else are you going to get a glance of how other cars really are? specially since we all share that 240 love......
nissan for life putos
sorry let me give a brief description of each.
fc- hands down my favorite car i've owned, that's why i still have it. far sportier then an s13 since it is more of a true sports car. bought it bone stock for $4500 with 120k on teh chassis and less then 1k on the rebuilt motor. motor was rebuilt by a local rotary guru and ran fine for me. it did have a leaky injector o ring for a while that would give me some grief but the engine was very solid. the gas mileage was crappy even on the highway and i dailyed it almost an hour one way to school and it never left me sit. i did things a little backwards and learned to work on rotaries first then learned on normal engines. the fc is still my true automotive love and i love the high revs it sees even while daily driving. its currently sitting in my barn awaiting a slow, meticulous restoration.
s13 pignose- my first s13, i paid $2700 for it with fresh tires, brakes, alignment and inspection. had kybs, strut bars, rucas and a few other little things. very pleased with it and loved the sohc. the one in that car was in particularly good shape and was very clean.
was a fun car that i had big plans for since it was in good shape and rustless but i sold it to buy the black s13
black s13- i leapt without looking and ended with a 93 SE with an sr already swapped in and 200k miles on the chassis. i was basically entranced by the sr and because of the low hanging fiberglass body kit i wasnt able to see the horrible rust underneath. it was nice to have power options as opposed to my last s13, a base model. i love the sr and its in my new shell, but don't ever let anyone tell you a high mileage chassis isn't bad. i will never own a high mileage chassis again and hated how run down feeling the car felt from being so beat. i finally put the car out of its misery and took it to the scrap yard.
