And the point of one would be?

I haven't used one. I think it'd only be useful for weekend track cars or drag strips, not everyday use.

I had one like that..but not a passport back in college. My friend and I used it on our drag car. It gave pretty good information...although I found it not to be completely accurate. We paid about $150 for ours...I can't remember the brand of it though.

Here's my old drag car...may she rest in peace

i have the gtech rr and as long as the weight is correct(you can add differnt cars, cylinders, weight, shift points ect, look it up...) it has always been within .2 sec, can be a bit tricky when you spin the tires or stall out then it seems to miss, but as long as you have your weight and a good mounting location it should be just fine, even more for finding g forces or just having fun because (with the gtech) you can put it in any car. my personal experience is only with the gtech, but i wouldnt see how much of a differnce the passport would do.
