thanks for the info...I ordered a used 2013 jx35 srs module, so same exact YM. I about tested everything, so this has to be the issue. I am assuming the guy I got it from didn't want to pay the dealer costs of $1500 so that's why he dumped it at auction.

So still at a loss here. installed the SRS module and it still wont allow zero point reset and the passenger sensor light still doesn't go away when weight is on the seat. I also installed the new occupant weight sens module with the new SRS module to see maybe if still the old occ weight module was also bad. still have the srs light.

I also did the reset with my stop watch, and the srs light is still flashing.

About the only thing I have not changed is the actual seat base itself. but I am getting the voltages to the actual plug to it appears the seat base harness and sensors are sending a signal to where it has to go.

No codes at all are stored in the srs system. There has to be somthing I am missing with the wiring somewhere.

I have a 2013 Pathfinder I can take that seat out and put in the JX35 if you think that's worth a shot.

I also have a 2014 QX 60 I can test with

This is weird, because if you have a sensor issue, the OCS controller should be throwing a B1018 or 1019. Even if the OCS wasn't talking you should be getting a B1022. The blinking on yours also indicates a general malfunction, so if it isn't stuck in diag mode, ordinarily there have to be codes.

Looking through ASIST, I did find that there was an extensive OCS recall and/or retrofit on the JX's which might not have been performed on your ride. Check for open recalls on the VIN, if R1606 or PC217 show up as incomplete then you can get the work done free.

It has to be that it’s stuck in service mode, everything else checks out

I guess I’m going to have to keep at it until I can get it back into user mode

So I have been reading through the srs section in the manual and it appears the reason I am getting the blinking srs light is that the system will not return to normal mode until the zero point reset is confirmed. So until I am able to succesfully do a zero point reset it will just stay in service mode.

At this point I am going to swap out the whole seat base from the QX60 and see if I can succesfully do a zpr. I am wondering if the voltages are fluctuation for some reason through the sensors because they are bad. I still need to see if the recall was done on my seat yet.

my vin is 5N1AL0MN2DC337299

ASIST says it had the R1606 recall performed in Oct '16 by Clear Lake Infiniti, so it should have the correct OCS C/U. That also means it was never eligible for the ITB17-016 retrofit. What puzzles me now is the absence of codes, if a sensor was out of range it should be throwing a B1018 or B1019 as mentioned above, or possibly a B00A0 with the updated C/U. The point is, there should be something.

One funky thing about ZPR which I don't think is mentioned in the FSM, you must cycle the key off and on immediately before you perform it. If not, the C/U will refuse to communicate, and it can also trigger a situation where the zero points have been erased but not replaced. I'd retry the ZPR, but make sure you kill the key and then turn back on before doing it. See if that will get it calibrate.

I was having high hopes that was what I was missing but no luck. I did it with killing it right before I hit the button (no ecm comms tried too eraly), then killing it an dturning it back on and waiting then trying.

The only thing that if you go into the srs past code menu there is a B0118 but that my due to when I unplugged it while diag.

No active codes.

I am going to get the qx60 tomorrow and do some swapping and voltage readings.
