I have a 95 240sx base model.

the passenger side window will not go down.the driver side window though works just fine. I remember reading on some past post that the power window amplifier goes out alot. But after looking at the FSM, none of the passenger side wires run thru the amplifier.

so my question, is it my amplifier that is broken or is it the passenger side motor?

Do make sure you don't have the window lock switched on. We've all been guilty of that one at least once...

Lol I was guilty of avoiding my window lock for a week recently. I felt like "" looking in the mirror. So be sure to check on that...

I don't remember whether or not the passenger side has an amp or not. However, I'm currently dealing with a non-operational driver's side window. I know it's the motor. For me, when I press the switch, I can hear the amp clicking. I replaced the amp and it did the same thing. Next target: the motor.

Double check if it is the motor by checking for 12v at the motor when the window is supposed to have power. It could be a switch. The amp is connected to both window motors on the s13.

yeah. i checked the window lock. I wish it was that! i'll check for 12v at the motor and see what I get. If i get 12v then it's the motor and not the switch, right.

haha, mine won't roll down no matter what. so if i want to talk to chicks they have to be on my driver side and I hope they don't come around to the other.
