Please help. Trying to fix my daughter's 92 240SX Hatchback. Pass side window does not go up or down. Neither the driver side or pass side window switch works. No clidk or any type of noise at all.

So I got a new window motor from Autozone (~$160 US) and installed it today. That didn't fix the problem (arrrrghhhhhh).

Anyone know what else I should be looking for?

Thanks,Rich FrancoBurke, VA

i dont know if its the sam thing but mine did not work either. take the door panel off, and follow the wires from the switch to the motor. in the middle of them there is a circuit board inside (mine was inside, your may not be) a plastic box that can easily be pulled out, then there is a part where that plugs into that circuit board. wiggle it up and hold it there, then try to use the window, try all directions and dont be afraid to use a little strength.

if that doesnt work check the fuse or the connection for the button under the door handle, then follow the wire around and check for natsyness.

sorry if this was hard to understand, it was difficult to explain.

good luck!

I just did a search on "window" and found my answer. The window lock out button on the driver's side was depressed locking out the operation of the passenger side window.

Its WORKING!!!

Thanks! Rich
