Hey everyone!

Someone broke the passenger side mirror off, but not entirely, as it was left dangling intact by the wires. The mirror still works. What I want to know is if I can get the part that attaches the mirror to the door? It is the black plastic "arm" that holds the mirror. The body shop is trying to get me to order the entire thing, but seems to me as a stupid suggestion since all I need is that one piece and I am sure it would be far less. I've looked all over online, cannot even find a mirror assembly, etc. Used is fine!

Is it possible to just order this part or do I have to buy the whole thing? Nissan is famous for that! LOL

Also, the stupid tire shop lost one of my lug nuts. Can someone suggest the best place to order a replacement?

Go to the dealership and find out what parts you need, then go online and order the parts, it will be cheaper that way.

whatever you do, DONT let the mirror hang there while you drive around, it will only cause further damage. Both to you paint and the wires.

I had a friend in college have this happen to his Ford Focus when parked on 6th street one night. He pulled it into the car with the window down and rolled the window up until it held the mirror in place.

I checked the courtesyparts.com website for the part numbers/diagrams and it looks like the dealer was not lying to you. The assembly comes as one unit.

You might compare prices with the dealer and sites on the web to find the best price.

Good luck!
