Long time no post here! I am still around for you old timers who recall. I have just not driven the Q much over the last year (~4K mi.) and have had no problems.

That said, I just found out that the passenger's seat stopped working. I cannot find a related fuse or relay? Any thoughts?? It must be an electrical issue as it has always worked perfect and never made any noises or grinding -- it just went dead.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!!!

As with most electrical "gremlin" issues, try disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.

Sorry I am not in Austin right now. If resetting doesn't work, I guess controllers are next. Is there a procedure for testing the BCU?

I will try the complete battery disconnect. It may be this weekend before I can spend time on it. Is the seat controller under the seat or in the door -- I can't recall. Hopefully someone else has cured this ill and can advise.

Has anyone opened up or replaced a seat controller?

Sorry for the lack of communication Brian -- it has been too busy around here with work and other than oil and fluid changes over the past year, I have enjoyed a very dependable period with the Q. Maybe the thousand other updates and maintenence procedures have paid off! Of course I know that it will all come around again.
