Passenger Seat Recline Problem

I have a 2007 Pathfinder LE. I have noticed that when I stop the engine and open the doors, the front passenger seat back starts to recline severely. I was removing my granddaughter from her car seat which is located on the right side of the rear seat immediately behind the front passenger seat. The seat back was coming down so much I started to get concerned that her legs might be injured. Has anyone else run into this problem?
