Anyone know a way to get my passenger mirror back on track, it drops with a few clicks and stutters and then drops completely down when in reverse. Clicks and stutters when returning to its normal position and gets stuck halfway through the return alignment. This started happening after a extended stay at the dealership and ofcourse they dont know what happened to it.

If you're brave you could try pushing it back in, assuming it's like most mirrors & has a ball joint back there that simply popped out.

I'm not an expert, ut I believe it needs a new actuator. I think Infiniti replaces that for about $275. It's happening to me right now too and I saw an older post showing the part number that you could buy for about $50 and instructions to replace it. The only thing is I could never find the part. I just cut off that setting for now until I am ready to get it fixed.

Good luck

Try adjusting the mirror to a different angle and see if that works. Mine got stuck one day from me messing with it and I just had to adjust it out more.

I have tried adjusting it out by hand then letting the motor take control of it and it helped a little but it just all the way there, guess I will pop it off and see what happens.
