Hi guys,
Wife's M35 passenger door cannot be opend from inside or out. Suspect door actuators but cannot access to get panel off to even change let alone test it. Went though manuals and found test for it but it was unclear of the location for the BCM. Door kick panel or behind glove box? And do I still need to open door to test? Either way I need to open it. Driver door did the same thing in the winter but enough playing with the locks made it work. Not to mention I hit the wood panel near the handle so hard it shattered....Dumb dumb

I ran into a similar issue and it was actuator related. I had a shop install a new actuator and they didn't properly route the cable that goes to the lock mechanism. The window going up and down eventually bent the cable and prevented me from opening the drivers door. I must have played with it for over an hour and finally got it open. I immediately took off the inside door panel. Luckily, I was able to straighten the cable and housing and secured it so that the window wouldn't ever hit it and no problems after that.

Do you have AAA? Either way, consider having a locksmith try it... Or buy a slimjim and YouTube how to use it.

CAA up here in the great white north!! Last time I used them they just blew up a little bag they slide inbetween the door/window surround and used a long wire to open E lock button. Not going to help in this situation!!

If it doesn’t open with either handle, it has to be lock-related.

The only thing I reckon is to remove the inside door handle and see if you can yank on the cable manually?

Thanks Larz, I'll try that this weekend!! I could make the slim jim thing but I'll take the other door apart to see what I'm supposed to be yanking or pulling/pushin.
