Passenger Door dosent lock

ok you would figure this would be simple as did i but the passenger front door dosent stay locked.i can manually lock the door close it and i can still open the door from the outside without a key or the key fob.

I can also lock it via the keyfob but still am able to open the door from the outside

drivers side doors are fine and passenger rear door is fine as well,Its just the passenger front door.since i have the new radio in i want to fix this asap to prevent low-lifes from attempting to steal it

I hope this is an easy fix that im overlooking

Pop the door panel off and either re-attach the little clip for the lock mechanism or find a replacement clip and install it.

Ok i took off the door panel today and found out the problem.i can lock it manually with the key but thats about it,studied how the "system" works and it came down to this-the spring loaded lever in the lock mechanism part fell out and i tried to open it but it looks like a sealed unit so i need a new one lol.it sits inside the passenger front door its held by one 10mm bolt and 3 screws on the outer edge of the door-i put my old one back in so i can still close and latch the door closed-i can still manually lock the door with the key but having the keyless entry lock and unlock all the doors is a nice feature
