Passenger Airbag Light

I searched the web a little and found some mixed information about the subject.
The light has been acting crazy, sometimes even with passengers in the car the light will turn on (representing the airbag is off). Also while no one is in the seat the light will turn off (representing the airbag is on). Back in 2008 my wife had an Altima Sedan and had the same issue, she contacted the dealer and they said the repair was covered under a "recall". I have contacted the dealer and they have told me it is NOT covered...anyone else having this issue?

I've had this same issue since I got my car this past February. And I got it brand new.

the light does it all the time lol and i got my car 2 months ago.. turn the car on and off and perfect the problem is fixed!
