passeger side window problem...

01 Path with auto-up.... the passeger side front window.... when i use the auto up function both form driver and pass.... as soon as it reaches the top and closing the window will come back down 4 inches on its own.... I have checked for any obstructions... i basically ripped up the whole drivers side..puling up all of the molding and such ...absolutly nothing in the way.! the only thing i figure is the relay in the drivers side switch assembly has gone bad.....MAYBE! Has anyone had this problem before???

How long has this been going on. Did it start shortly hafter yhou purchased the vehicle? Does the driver side do the same thing?. Will the window go all the way up if not using the auto-up?

I bought the car that way.... its starting to bother me know...its just the pass side window and it works fine in the non-auto mode all the way up and down. its just the auto up form both drivers side and pass side....as soon as it reaches the top it comes back down 4 inches.

It is a factory option. My mother has a '03 maxima and has the same problem. Been meaning to do some researchh on how to stop it but it doesn't bother her. I am the one with the complaints when i drive it. I will be sure to let you know how to change the program on the auto-up function. Otherwise contact a dealer to expedite the process.
