Passanger Door Speaker wire missing

Hello all,
Well I got a 03 pathfinder SE and the passanger side speaker in the door did not work. So tonight i decided to take the door apart and see what was up. The speaker was in place but the red and green wires going to the speaker was just draped over speaker like they had been pulled out of the harness. My question is where in the harness should it be and would it be better to just run new wire? If i run new wire should it run to the tweeter then the speaker? Also there was a plug that did not go to anything off that harness. Its smaller then the window/door plug that goes to the are rest and its white if that helps. Anyway I will get pictures tomorrow and I know that will help.
