pass side window??

k im a newb to this forum and the 240 but ive searched. my passenger side window is stuck all the way up. its getting power to the relay and the motor. i can hear the motor turning and then it dies out slowly like its binding on somethin. i havent taken the door panel off to take a look yet but i need to and i just wanted to know a few things to look at. btw i just got my 89 240sx hatch and cant wait to mod the **** outta it, i used to have a pretty stout 2003 nissan sentra spec v but fwd SUCKS so i sold everything off it so it can be my daily.

nobody... i would like to convert to manual windows from the power, is there a parts list or a how to that i couldnt find...

Hey man, sounds like your window regulator is shot - off the top of my head i can't remember if that is a gear or cable driven regulator (don't see that too often in the shop)

Going from auto to manual, huh?you'd need new door panels, window regulators, crank handles.... kinda pricey for something that'll make your life a little harder if you ask me. I had crack windows on my s13 and now I'm loving power on my s14.

well ive looked at it and found that there is a cable that must have snapped and its causing the binding and obviously teh windows not working. now i just dont know how to fix it. i figured i would just use manual windows since this is just a weekend/track car and it can save me some weight.
