Pass. side window issues : regulator or smth else?

Hi, I have a problem with my pass. side window. It goes down very slowly, and up even more slowly, stopping short of closign completely (I have to «help» it by hand). Seems like something is binding.

I tried removing the trim, but the thing is, there are 4 chrome bolts holding the rails/cable system, and if you remove those, the window goes down, as these rails seem loose. If you don'r remove them, you seemingly can't pull the trim off.

I have no idea how this system works. How can something attached to the inner door trim lower and lift the window? I used the shop manual to no avail.

try and lube the cable. odds are this is just a dying motor
