if i can throw two cats on my car would i pass.....reason i'm asking is because i'm pretty sure i can't pass emissions even though my motor is running very very clean because i don't have that egr stuff....

can i pass with one cat....or could i try two....i just don't want to pay somone double the price to "hook me up"

I would just go and fail if you fail then spend the money, but if you don't wait to do that go to pepboys they have some additive that is guarrantee that you pass. or you could go buy a bunch of heet (or heat, i forgot what its for) but its almost pure alcohol

yeah I dont belive there is an additave that will make you pass smog

In very specific cases, some fuel additives can help you pass smog. About the only case this will happen is if your HC is high and nothing else is. If anything besides HC fails, a bottle of superpass smog fluid isn't going to do **** - figure out what problem you actually have.

Running two catalytic converters won't do anything to make up for the missing egr. egr and catalytic converters serve two entirely different purposes for emissions.

If you don't have EGR, put in a gallon of denatured alcohol - that will let you pass the NOx test, but you'll still fail visual if you don't have egr.

You'll probably need a hookup.
