I was looking as usual for parts sites and found that rock auto lists a lot of stuff. They're probably cross ref's, but that still beats no part.

Yep. I've learned that realistically, most parts can be rebuilt / restored to work better than aftermarket replacements. RA is a good source (shipping can be high). Also, keep an eye on ebay and Amazon. If you get in a jam on a specific part, let me know - I've done a LOT of searching in the past 10 years. :)

Yup ebay is my friend right now. I picked up a speedo cable (40 bucks) and a tach (100 bucks) on it. I'm putting together a grocery list to see if Les has the stuff as well. Thanks for the offer on the sourcing, I'm certain I'll run into something tough to find.

I agree with rebuilding. I've rebuild starters, alternators, relays etc... myself so that always helps.

If Les isn't a help (and he's less and less interested in restoration and parts sourcing), let me know - I have a few other sources I kinda keep on the back burner.
