I have an A/C with the 2.5S Nissan uses that same motor in alot of there vehicles such as the sentra SE-R. If i were to purchase cams and headers for the sentra SE-R and actually put them in my car what would be the actuality of this working? Would it be a matter of the bore itself of the block and dimensions?

Thanks All!

P.S.- Everyone on this forum has been such a great help with everything. As you noticed i have made a few purchases recently for my car and am working towards more

Well for starters im positive the headers will not work from the Ser. Stillen is coming out with headers for the A/C shortly. So wait patiently til they come out, ive been waiting for ages.

The cams should work, i have not heard of anybody on this forum putting cams on their 2.5. I also read at the jwt website that the cams give 8 hp, i could be wrong but for 5-600$$$ im not sure that is worth it. the cams will void your engine warranty.

I didn't get an extended warranty or anything so my warranty is just about up in another few thousand miles actually haha

there ya go

and i suggest the new springs too, and bully dog tunning. That way you can rev to 7200 rpms. i bet you could get a sick amount of power out of that.

Maybe 20 since they say the cams only produce 8hp.

I doubt this is a DIY, i love to see this happen

I def might get the new cams. I was looking around at performance chips and programmers as well. I found a site with piggy back systems for like 80 bucks that apparently are designed specifically for w/e car when you order it. I am also looking at bullydog performance programmers. With a chip, cams, and a programmer i can get an additional probably 70+ horsepower which would put my power at the same as the 3.5L without forced induction. Talk about badass!
