headers are kinda crappy from what is left on the market for the L series engine.

I have been told to use the stock cast manifold and run two 2inch pipes back to the cross member on my 510 then into a muffler/glass pack. something similar should work on the pickups.

Next get the pertronix ignition jegs.com has it I don't know the model off the top of my head. IT must be used with a points style coil. There is also a mod to use a GM HEI fired from the points. You can use a blaster coil with that. Or find the Nissan matchbox dizzy blaster or 280zx coil works good there.

carbs are all over the place used. A set of Side drafts will really wake that engine up.
