ok so im thinkin about upgrading some parts before texas tuner showdown and i just wanted a little advice. im gonna order a oil catch can, possibly intake manifold and throttle body. as for the intake manifold i see many "so called greddy intake manifolds'" online but its an empty rectangle with no greddy badge in it, are these real? and i was gonna go with the tomie big bore 70mm throttle body. would i benefit from these parts? my mods are built bottome end some headwork(hks step 2 264's port polish valve springs, retainers and valve guides). runnin the gt3071r

those so called "greddy" manifolds are exact copies of real ones but they use cheaper material and manufacturing processes. just like the cheap oil pans it may have small holes and leak because of the cost cutting. you could get it powder coated or spray it with a good heavy clear coat to prevent leaks, but then you have to worry about the flanges and hope they dont break off. imo i would spend the extra cash on a REAL greddy manifold as there is no comparison in its quailty. but yes a very good uprade and worth every penny.as far as the trottle body, you will notice a little to no extra ponies but it will flow better for obvious reasons, and it should make it way more responsive

but i would do the manifold first, it the biggest bang for the money.
