will the oil pan and internals of a ka-e work in a ka-de, the only diff is the head right?

internals meaning pistons and rods? i know the pistons will, probably the rods too. i think the pan should be interchangable too.

the reson i ask is im looking at a zenki and the motor has a rod through the oil pan and i have a ka-e where a rod is through the block, can i take the parts that wher not damaged in the ka-e and fix the de

the kae has higher compression, so youd need to swap all the pistons.

indeed, there are some helpful threads dealing with ka-e pistons around here somewhere to help you see what youre looking at.
