Does anyone have the clamshell and ignition for a 1980 720? also need emergency flasher switch as my truck was stolen and recovered and they wrecked all the old parts.

Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear about the theft and vandalism of your 720. For these parts I think your best bet is to watch eBay or check you local salvage yards. For eBay start with the board topic of Datsun Flasher Switch (7 results) or hazard switch (14 results). This should pull up flasher switch for all Datsun and allow you to narrow down from there. Don't forget with a part like this that it was probably used on several different Datsun models over several years.
Salvage yards, I know good luck with this one, as many yards keep cars/trucks for that long. But since you are in SoCal, chances are there are a few salvage yards that specialize in old/vintage/antique cars and trucks and may still have a few Datsuns models from this time period, might give them a call.
Additionally a member here on NiCo could also help square you away with your parts needs also.

Thank you for you kind reply. If I may ask one more question. My engine is tired and i dislike the 4 speed trans. So thinking of rebuilding and using a 280ZX trans. If not for smok issues I might have changed the engine too. Any suggestions that you might have?
