Just got back from business trip in thailand....seen at least 10, 521 datsun pickups still running around over their.....tried several parts stores in rural area and they weren't much help.....

I might be headed back over in a week or two and will try another search in the city of Bangkok....does anyone have any contacts or any ideas to help me out.....i was thinking the windshields are the hardest to find for us so if i can get some i will bring back as many as possible....also looking for the arrow shaped marker lights...if i could bring back 10 sets is that enough for everyone.....remember interiors are opposite drive so not many parts their to bring back...

hopefully someone can get me part #'s or even a contact.....not looking to make money just trying to keep the datsuns around for a while....

 

the arrow running lights are cool...I have 2 sets that I picked up brand new for under 20 each...it's the gaskets that are hard to find in good shape!

I took a look in the crash sheets that I posted for part numbers...

if you get a line on a windshield, people will be bugging the heck out of you for them...72613-14801...I'll take one!:D

or a lower gravel pan (valance) 62603-B0150...

but a couple of the most sought after are the wing window weather stripping: 80241-B3000 and 80242-B3000...and the split bumpers for the rear: 85003-14900, 85004-14900, 85203-B0400, 85204-B0400...or the headlight eyebrow chrome: 62316-B0100, 62317-B0100

and rarest of all is the side moulding for the fenders...these were not issued in the states: 63807-B0100 and 63808-B0100...

you are a super moderator....thats what i needed to know and i am hoping the # are the same here as over their.....i was told they don't organize their parts by years and models....

i will keep ya posted and hopefully i can find at least some of these parts...

While you're at it, see of you can find 76812-W0563 and 76813-W0563.  Kind of off topic since they're not for my 'Old Datsun Pickup' but they are A-pillar moldings for my 810 Coupe.  Replacements are nla here.  I've been checking for almost 3 years.

the trip is on to Thailand April 17--23...not much time to look around but i will try....does anyone have any ideas....dealerships, parts stores....dont think junk yards are beneficial to our cause....i can find junk parts here...

they have junk yards over there? oh how I could have fun!
