Niconauts,

As you may probably know (or not.) I'm in the progress of installing an S1 RB25DET with RB25DET transmission and VLSD. I'm only looking for 300 whp or so, the car is my DD. My question is about my parts list for the motor only, am I missing anything?

My parts list so far:N1 water pump, OEM oil pump,Nismo T-Stat ,Nismo or Greddy timing belt, idler and pulley, possibly an ATI dampener.re-wired 90-amp alternator,

I havent gotten to crack my transmission open to check the clutch yet.

I already have an S-AFC2 & Blitz exhaust as well. Is there anything else you would suggest / change for the engine itself? Thanks in advance.l0nestar.

you dont need an ATI dampner

and you need to replace your clutch. dont even think about leaving a stocker in there.

ditch the alt rewire, use an oem timing belt too. definitely get the oem oil pump since you'll have the crappy crank collar, at least its got some fresh drive metal for the crank to chew on.

for a clutch I did the ACT 2100 and I think that should work fine for you as well. And I will tell you I have a SAFC2 also, and like i read before I got it...it is really annoying. But it does what I need it to for the time being. (temp fix until next spring) If I had the car running sooner I would have had some standalone in earlier but no such luck.

Also I might add, Walbro 255 (or similar), Nismo FPR, some sort of electric fans, and of course the misc stuff that comes up randomly haha. You migh have these already just throwing more info out there.

Kamin,

I assume that the stock clutch is in there, but I do not know for sure and wanted to check. I was thinking of going with an ACT NX6-HDSS - Z32 NA Clutch Kit & (pleas correct if wrong) NX2-HDSS 240mm Datsun Flywheel.

Thanks for the concern

Gawdzilla,

Thanks for the info as well! Is there much difference between the stock timing belt & a GReddy piece? (other than a few $) Does anyone kknow if the Mazda Kl03 alternator (MX-6 & Probe GT) is the same? I can verify this once I get my RB25 out.

Gomer,

Thank you also for the tips about the SAFC2 & fuel pump. I actually have the stock GTS-T fuel pump (just didnt list it :-\ ) After I got the SAFC2 I realized that it was more of a band-aid and that actually, I may not have even needed it, but well, I have it now... Is the ACT clutch similar to the one I posted numbers to just above? NX6-HDSS What 'stage' is the 2100?

navajo_drifter,

Thanks also for the info from Mack about the N1 pump. I didnt think that I needed the N1, but hey, it never hurts to ask! From what I have gained it is just a higher PSI pump. Again, thank you for the reply!
