Does anyone know if Joe can get the little hook on the fob that attaches to your key ring? Mine broke and I hate to buy the whole fob. I took it apart and the little hook comes off like it can be replaced. Any suggestions?

I've used super glue many times as it never lasts. I guess you could take a soldering iron and get it hot and melt the plastic a little?

I dont thinky ou can replace just the hook. I had the same thing except i had a non working one and someone sent me a working one without a hook and it worked.

I would personally just drill a hole in the corner to put a key ring around it.

Here's my 20 cent fix: With a pair of tin snips I cut a 1/8" wide strip from an aluminum can and formed it to the shape of the opening on the key ring end. I then sealed it in place with JB weld. Once the epoxy set I wrapped the entire OD of the remote with a piece of 3/16" wide aluminum tape.

I never said it was pretty but it's worked well for the last six months and I can hang it on a keyring.
