Ok, so in my other thread, i explained how i am gettin the turbo finally on and etc. I want to know about what is needed for me to get the BOV working. I know that obviously the flange needs to be welded on either the hot or cold pipe but what about tapping it for the vacuum source. The BOV requires a vacuum source and i think most peeps use the FPR. Now if they do use the FPR, where can i find a tee so that i can split into my boost gauge line? Ill be using the Greddy Type S BTW. Can this piece be found at lowe's or home depot? also is the vacuum tubing sold at Discount fine for this?

so i feel like a total idiot since i happened to look in the BOV box a little while ago and saw all that i needed. this is the side effect of being a college student. nonetheless, if the T that is supplied with the BOV doesnt work, where to locate it?

haha I was gonna say... theres no reason why the T wouldnt work, but any local auto parts or hardware store will have a selection of those nylon/plastic/metal/whatever you want Ts for you to pick from.

vacume tee's can be found at the advance auto parts store on pines blvd, i got some from there for a different project, and ask the person behind the parts counter to go back and check out the vacume line, cut off what you need and ur good. they have like 8 different sizes on spools in the back.

get some small zip ties to secure your vacume lines, secure them with the aid of some pliers too.

thanks for the help, just trying to narrow down the stuff so that there will be less trips to discount on the day of the actual install

No you don`t have to have a different source. I use the same source for the BOV and Boost gauge.
