Apparently the alternator and AC pulley assembly kits do NOT include all the proper washers! I drove across the country and found out today that my alt pulley adjustment screw was BENT! I had to hammer the screw back into shape and grabbed a washer lying in the garage.

The AC pulley assembly I received from Scottsdale was missing a washer as well, which caused the tensioner screw to bend, which then destroyed the bracket that holds the pulley and AC compressor.

I am extremely annoyed at Nissan.

"Does this assembly contain everything I need, all the washers, plates, adjustment screw, pulley, and everything?"'Yes, it does.'"Great. I'll buy it!"

End of story. To freaking hell with Nissan. I have the manual. I have the diagrams.

Your input is lazy, sardonic, and completely useless.

Well despite my computer going to hell on me, i still have all my important information, my Q45 service manual, TSBs (who cares), and my parts CD...

So without further adeu, heres the nissan part numbers youll need. You have to buy the whole AC compressor bracket (definitely get used) and fortunately they break down everything.....

Here you go Jesda... If you call Joe back, tell him to go to section 275, which isthe AC compressor mounting and stuff... I think i should be the parts guy sometimes!

heres the part numbers

Jesda,

Not meaning to bash Scottsdale but last time I had something shipped, I reiterated my address to them twice. After waiting for an extended period with no package in sight, I called them back and double-checked the address again only to be told that it was right. When I tracked the package, I found that it had been "delivered"... I asked my co-workers if they had seen anything and one directed me over to the broom closet where I found a box originally containing tissues or napkins from Scottsdale Infiniti. The box came without my name on it addressed only to my firm... and she'd stuck them in there thinking it was supplies.

Thanks Wes!

Whats funny is, these pulley assemblies come as an entire kit, preassembled. I installed them as they were assembled. *sigh*

I dont place blame on Scottsdale. I bought one assembly from Plaza and one from Joe, so something must be up at Nissan.

I gotta ask: What happened to the original parts?

The original alt pulley was bad (original) and discarded. I parked the Q for a couple days and then bought a new assembly from Plaza Motors. The original AC pulley was left in Missouri before leaving for Washington. I cut the AC belt because the compressor seized.

When I received the pulley assembly packages, they were pre-assembled, so I installed them as such.
